Everett Silvertips forward Zach Hamill has been named the Western Hockey League Player of the Week for Jan. 22-28.
Hamill, a native of Port Coquitlam, B.C., recorded 13 points (four goals and nine assists) in helping the Silvertips to a 4-0 record last week.
The 13 total points moved Hamill, 18, into first place in the WHL in scoring with 68 points (21 goals, 47 assists). Hamill also is the Silvertips’ all-time leader in points (162), goals (50) and assists (112).
