For immediate release, Evergreen Speedway:
Saturday September 19th’s 5/8’s Open Competition race is being replaced with a 100 Lap Hornet Road Course Enduro Race. Efforts are already in the works to bring back this late model open race for the 2010 season.
The Speedway is excited to host this Hornet Enduro race. All hornet drivers for the event will receive 25 points for taking the green flag in the main event towards hornet championship point standings. The purse for the race is being increased as well. The winner will be awarded $500. All cars racing in the event must pass tech inspection before be allowed on race track. More details to follow in the days ahead.
Also racing for the night will include the Speedway Chevrolet Super Late Models on the 5/8’s oval and the Foster Press Mini Stocks on the 3/8’s oval. A full night of racing and fun family entertainment.
