Former University of Washington receiver Kasen Williams is getting his shot at the NFL, being promoted by the Seahawks to the 53-man roster from the team’s practice squad.
Room for Williams was created by the Seahawks placing tight end Anthony McCoy on injured reserve because of knee and ankle injuries, ending McCoy’s season after appearing in just one game. Williams’ signing gives Seattle five receivers on the roster.
So 60 percent of the #Seahawks’ receivers are now former undrafted Huskies.
