MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Bucks point guard Luke Ridnour will miss four weeks after breaking his right thumb in practice.
General manager John Hammond said Friday that Ridnour hurt the thumb in practice Thursday. Milwaukee dealt point guard Tyronn Lue to Orlando for shooting guard Keith Bogans earlier in the day.
Ridnour’s injury means Ramon Sessions is the only player on the Bucks with experience at point guard.
Ridnour was acquired in a three-team trade before the season and had started 49 games, averaging 10.7 points and a team-high 5.7 assists.
Milwaukee center Andrew Bogut will miss at least eight weeks with a stress fracture in his back and guard Michael Redd is out for the season with torn ligaments in his left knee.
