The Snohomish County Explosion announced Friday that former Cascade High School and Edmonds Community College basketball player Michael Jones is coming out of retirement to rejoin the team.
Jones, a 6-foot-10 center, played for the Explosion in 2007 and 2008. He retired early in the 2009 season, the Explosion said in a press release.
Jones is expected to be in action Saturday night when the Explosion (5-6) play International Basketball League foe Vancouver at the Monroe Sports Arena.
Jones is the second player to join the Explosion this week. The Explosion earlier added former Arkansas Tech forward Ike O’Hanson. The 6-6 O’Hanson began the season on the roster of the IBL’s Seattle Mountaineers.
