EVERETT – The Everett Explosion announced Saturday that Antwon Jones was released for conduct detrimental to the team following a locker room incident after the game against the Tacoma Jazz on Friday night.
The Explosion will dress just 12 players per game for the rest of the season, even though the roster will be 15 players, according to the team.
”Our strength of a deep bench has been frustrating to some players, as a lot of the talented players who are use to starting have not gotten many minutes,” said team general manager Nathan Mumm. ”With 12 players suiting this will get more minutes to a talented first year team.”
