The Monroe Public School District and the Courtyard Media Foundation have reached an agreement allowing the Snohomish County Explosion the ability to play games for another two years at Monroe High School’s gym, the team said in a press release Saturday.
“We are excited to be hosting the playoffs for the next three years and happy to have the ability to play in Monroe as we work on the next phase of getting a permanent facility for the team.” said Nathan Mumm founder of Courtyard Media Foundation.
Details of the arrangement were not disclosed.
The Explosion finished 14-10 in their second season in International Basketball League.
Tickets for the 2009 season will go on sale Oct. 13 at www.explosionbasketball.net.
