PLYMOUTH, England — Formula One team owner Ross Brawn has been fined for speeding in England.
Officials say Friday that Brawn was traveling more than 100 mph in a 70 mph zone. He says heavy traffic caused him to be two hours late for an appointment.
Brown was fined $1,150 and six points were added to his license. He already has three points, and a total of 12 means he would lose his license.
His team Brawn GP leads the Formula One constructors’ championship. Driver Jenson Button leads the drivers’ championship.
