Jeff Gordon is going to win the UAW-Dodge 400 this Sunday in Las Vegas.
I just don’t see the Hendrick Gang getting shut out of victory lane for a third straight race. Although Jimmie Johnson would be the logical pick — he has, after all, won the past three races in Vegas — I think Gordon is feeling the heat more.
My mother’s guess?
She’d prefer to see Dale Earnhardt Jr. win, but thinks Kyle Busch, who is leading the Cup and Truck points lists and is No. 2 in Nationwide, will finish first at his home track.
Speaking of Nationwide, I’m going with Kevin Harvick to win Saturday’s Sam’s Town 300. Harvick was third in California on Monday and has a pretty good track record in Vegas.
Don’t worry Ma, you probably won’t have to disown me. I’m picking so poorly you’re probably going to end up being right on this one. Going into this weekend I’ve been right just once in four tries.
