Yeah, that’s the ticket
Comic and former Saturday Night Live star Jon Lovitz is among a group being sued by the Los Angeles Dodgers over claims they failed to pay nearly $100,000 for season tickets for the 2010 baseball season.
Delaware-based Dodger Tickets LLC filed the breach-of-contract lawsuit Monday in Los Angeles.
The lawsuit claims Lovitz and 100 other individuals entered into a written agreement in March 2008 to buy three dugout club seats for all baseball games played at Dodger Stadium in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
The lawsuit alleges the group refused to pay $95,400 for the 2010 season. The company is seeking $95,400 and other unspecified damages in the lawsuit.
No hurling: Matthew Clemmens, 21, of New Jersey pleaded guilty Tuesday to vomiting on another spectator and the man’s 11-year-old daughter in the stands during a Philadelphia Phillies game in April.
Clemmens and a friend were spilling beer, cursing and heckling off-duty police captain Michael Vangelo and his daughters from the time they arrived at their seats. After complaints to stadium security, the friend was ejected and a short while later Clemmens answered his cell phone then announced, “I need to do what I need to do. I’m going to get sick.” He stuck his fingers down his throat, vomited on Vangelo and punched him before being subdued by other fans. He screamed expletives at the crowd as he was led from the park. He was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment.
