First round playoff schedule

The first round playoff schedule between Everett and Spokane has been set. Here it is:

Game 1: Everett at Spokane, Friday, March 21, 7:00 pm

Game 2: Everett at Spokane, Saturday, March 22, 7:00 pm

Game 3: Spokane at Everett, Wednesday, March 26, 7:05 pm

Game 4: Spokane at Everett, Friday, March 28, 7:35 pm

Game 5: Spokane at Everett, Saturday, March 29, 7:05 pm (if necessary)

Game 6: Everett at Spokane, Tuesday, April 1, 7:00 pm (if necessary)

Game 7: Everett at Spokane, Wednesday, April 2, 7:00 pm (if necessary)

This setup, the 2-3-2 in regards to where the games are played, is unusual. Usually WHL playoff series go 2-2-1-1-1. However, the Spokane Arena is being used for the regionals of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament the weekend of the 28th. Therefore, Everett gets the irregular luxury of having two weekend home dates (potentially) despite being the lower-seeded team.
