EVERETT — Seattle Mariners top prospect Harry Ford hit his first home run of the season, and Reid Morgan allowed just one unearned run in six innings as the Everett AquaSox beat the Vancouver Canadians 4-1 on Friday night at Funko Field.
Ford’s two-run blast came in the bottom of the third inning off Canadians pitcher Trenton Wallace and cleared the wall in center field to give the AquaSox a 3-0 lead.
Ford finished with three RBI, Stock went 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs scored, and Jonatan Clase went 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI for Everett (6-6).
Morgan struck out four and walked one, and Logan Rinehart, Peyton Alford and Ty Adcock each tossed a scoreless inning in relief for the AquaSox.
Riley Tirotta went 1-for-3 with a double, one of just three hits for Vancouver (5-4).
