Marysville-Pilchuck was one of the last big high school football fields with grass. No longer. I made my first trip to M-P Friday night for a Wesco North showdown between the Tomahawks and the Monroe Bearcats only to find that their awesome grass had been turned into the dreaded field turf. Okay, so players/administrators/grounds keepers/etc. universally LOVE field turf. Photographers, on the other hand, universally HATE it. No grass stains? No mud? No flying grass chunks? No good. Oh well, so goes the way of the dodo.
How about some photos?
