The Minnesota Lynx got back on track on Friday with a 79-76 victory over the Chicago Sky.
Lindsay Whalen scored 16 points to lead the Lynx (17-5). Sylvia Fowles led the Sky (10-14) with 28.
The Los Angeles Sparks scored a home victory over the Phoenix Mercury, 93-90.
Rookie Jantel Lavender scored 25 points to lead the Sparks (9-13). Penny Taylor scored 29 points to pace the Mercury (13-10).
In Friday’s other game, the Washington Mystics rallied from nine points down to beat the New York Liberty 64-63.
Crystal Langhorne led the Mystics (5-15) with 18 points. Leilani Mitchell scored 18 points to lead the Liberty (13-10).
