Friday’s prep basketball stars

Here are some of the stars from Friday night’s high school basketball action:

— Adiya Jones, Tulalip Heritage. Jones scored 31 points to lead her team to a 64-48 victory over Shorewood Christian.

— Lewis Pope, South Whidbey. Pope scored 26 points, including seven 3-pointers, to lead the South Whidbey boys past Archbishop Murphy in a Cascade Conference game.

— The Kirk brothers, Shorewood. Ian, a senior forward, and Sean, a junior guard, combined for 43 points as the Thunderbirds beat Glacier Peak in their Wesco 3A South opener. Ian scored 24 points and Sean added 19.
