Pennington, a junior Coastal Carolina commit, struck out 17 batters in six shutout innings of two-hit softball, and went 2-for-2 with a double, a home run and two RBI in the T-wolves’ 8-1 win over Kamiak in a Wesco 4A matchup.
Brenden Miller, IF, Lake Stevens
Miller, a senior, hit an RBI single to left field in the bottom of the ninth inning, scoring Hunter Zielasko to give the Vikings a 3-2 win over Monroe in Wesco 4A action.
Kendall Yackley, P, Mountlake Terrace
Yackley, a junior, went 3-for-4 with two home runs and seven RBI, and struck out three batters in four innings as the starting pitcher in the Hawks’ 11-0 win over Oak Harbor in a Wesco 3A game.
Bailey Greenlee, P, Snohomish
Greenlee, a senior Missouri State signee, struck out 17 Edmonds-Woodway batters and scattered five hits as the Panthers defeated the Warriors 5-3 in a Wesco 3A showdown.
Rachel Christensen, C, Everett
Christsensen, a senior, went 5-for-5 with two doubles, a home run and three RBI in the Seagulls’ 21-1 five-inning win over Lynnwood in a Wesco 3A contest.
Jazz Zenk, P/3B, Mountlake Terrace
Zenk, a senior, went 5-for-5 with a pair of doubles as the Hawks out-slugged Marysville Getchell for a 14-8 Wesco 3A victory.
