Not much in the way of changes from Saturday to tonight.
For Everett, right wing Kellan Tochkin and defenseman Mike Alexander are again scratched because of “upper-body” injuries. Tochkin, the team’s leading scorer during the regular season, had been described as a game-time decision. The only change is defenseman Alex Theriau coming into the lineup in place of defenseman Paul Sohor as the Tips again dress seven d-men. Sohor and forwards Tyler Parker, Markus McCrea and Campbell Elynuik are healthy scratches.
Everything remains the same for Tri-City as defenseman Brett Plouffe (leg) and left wing Peter Stoklasa (shoulder) remain out injured. Right wing Brock Zimak and goaltender Drew Owsley are healthy scratches, as is defenseman Zach Yuen. Yuen, Tri-City’s first-round pick in last year’s bantam draft, was just called up Monday.
—- UPDATE 7:20 p.m.
One correction as Yuen is in the lineup. Guess we were given bad information. I think defenseman Brock Sutherland is the other Tri-City scratch, but don’t quote me on that.
