Note: Line combinations and defensive pairings are not provided during the playoffs.
EVERETT
Forwards: Bajkov, Low, Laurencelle, Bauml, Stadnyk, Fonteyne, Millar, Aasman, Wegleitner, Nikolishin, Scherbak, Gerth?
Defensemen: Betker, Skrumeda, MacDonald, Leslie, Davis, Wharrie, Juulsen?
Goaltenders: Hart, Lotz.
Scratches: Pfeifer, Leedahl, Mykitiuk, Juulsen/Gerth.
Notes: Everett could be getting a much-needed boost on defense as Noah Juulsen, who missed the first four games of the series because of injury, will take the warm-up and may play. If Juulsen can’t go, call-up winger Spencer Gerth will make his WHL debut. Winger Jake Mykitiuk, who left Game 4 with an injury, is scratched for this one, joining winger Dawson Leedahl and defenseman Tristen Pfeifer on the sidelines.
PORTLAND
Forwards: Bittner, De Leo, Koules, Iverson, Overhardt, Petan, Schoenborn, Turgeon, Weinger, Bjorkstrand, McKenzie, Walter(?).
Defensemen: Cederholm, Hanson, Henry, Heinrich, Viveiros, Texeira, De Jong (?).
Goaltenders: Hill, Johnson.
Scratches: Glass, Heid, Flaman, De Jong/Walter.
Notes: Once again there’s no changes for Portland, which remains at full strength. The Winterhawks will again choose between winger Mitchell Walter and defenseman Brendan De Jong for the final scratch, though Walter has been the guy in nine of Portland’s 10 playoff games. Defenseman Nick Heid remains out injured.
