Georgia is having to recast its plans for its offensive line after losing starting left tackle Trinton Sturdivant for the season.
Coach Mark Richt said Tuesday that Sturdivant will have season-ending reconstructive surgery after injuring his left knee in the team’s first preseason scrimmage.
PITT: The Panthers have lost starting defensive end Doug Fulmer to a knee injury, the third year in a row injuries have ended Fulmer’s season. Fulmer tore a ligament in his left knee and will need surgery. An MRI revealed the injury Monday, Pitt coach Dave Wannstedt said.
