Gibbs leaves Gonzaga basketball team

SPOKANE — Guard Grant Gibbs is leaving the Gonzaga men’s basketball program.

Gibbs played in 24 games as a freshman, averaging 2.2 points and nine minutes per game.

Coach Mark Few said the Iowa native requested and was granted his release to pursue other options.
