The Mariners appeared to have dodged some trouble in the tweak-and-tightness department when closer David Aardsma’s tight groin and shortstop Jack Wilson’s tight hamstring proved to be small issues that lasted only a few days.
Aardsma is scheduled to pitch Friday against the Royals, and Wilson started yesterday against the Rangers.
Now, however, utility infielder Jack Hannahan is hurting. He has a groin problem that has bugged him the past four days. Manager Don Wakamatsu had hoped to play him today against the Giants, but it was still bugging him this morning.
