RENTON — Matt Hasselbeck was back working with the first team on Wednesday, and the Seattle Seahawks expect him to be in the same role Sunday against Arizona.
Hasselbeck said that his first full practice went well after missing five games with a sore back.
“It felt good,” Hasselbeck said of Wednesday’s practice. “I’ve been working really hard to get back. I’ve been wanting to get back for a long time. The first step was to practice. Hopefully, I’ll practice all week. But today was a great start.”
Hasselbeck added that he expected to be medically cleared for Sunday’s game later Wednesday afternoon.
Coach Mike Holmgren said Wednesday that he fully expects Hasselbeck to play Sunday.
“It’s business as usual,” Holmgren said.
