RENTON — Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck was among the players taking part in Monday’s practice when the Seattle Seahawks returned to the field in preparation for the regular-season opener.
The Seahawks play the Buffalo Bills on the road this Sunday.
Hasselbeck had missed most of the preseason because of back tightness.
The Seahawks held a light, 50-minute workout without pads. Wide receiver Deion Branch, middle linebacker Lofa Tatupu, left tackle Walter Jones and right tackle Sean Locklear were among the players who rested. The team’s first full practice of the week is Wednesday, at which time the official injury report comes out.
