Apparently Pete Carroll and Co. didn’t waste time identifying a couple of players they liked from this week’s minicamp. According to Jason La Canfora, who writes for the league’s official website, receiver Mike Williams and fullback Ryan Powdrell have both been signed. Both played for Carroll at USC.
Williams came into the league as the No. 10 overall pick in 2005, but has been out of football for the last two years. No word yet if former Husky Reggie Williams, another tryout player this week, will be signed as well.
