Heavyweights boost Snohomish

OAK HARBOR – Snohomish’s heavyweight wrestlers were the key to its 44-25 Wesco North victory Tuesday.

The lead changed several times during the meet with Oak Harbor holding a seven-point edge after Jeff Lange (145 pounds) pinned his opponent.

Snohomish answered with decisions in the 152- and 171-pound bouts and a major decision at 160 pounds.

With four matches left in the meet, Oak Harbor’s Mark Radach (189) scored a takedown at the buzzer to win and bring OH to within one point.
