HILLSBORO, Ore. — Seattle first-round pick Evan White hit his first professional home run Saturday, but it was of small consolation in Everett’s 11-2 loss to Hillsboro at Ron Tonkin Field.
AquaSox starter Michael Suarez allowed four runs in the first inning, and the Hops continued the onslaught from there.
White’s solo shot in the second inning made it 4-1, and a sacrifice fly in the fourth made it 4-2, but that’s as close as the Sox would get.
