PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — Ryan Hofer scored two goals in the first period and added an assist in the third as the Everett Silvertips beat the Prince George Cougars, 4-2, on Friday at CN Centre.
Austin Roest and Jesse Heslop added goals for Everett (18-17-1-0, 37 points). Goaltender Tyler Palmer stopped 26 of 28 shots.
Riley Heidt and Koehn Ziemmer scored goals for Prince George (15-17-3-0, 33 points). Netminder Ty Young had 30 saves in 34 opportunities.
