The return of adult kings to the Hoodsport Salmon Hatchery is building, according to a state spokesman there, but does not yet offer mid-August peak fishing. The handicapped fishing platform is open, he said, and those qualified to fish there should plan on working a high tide and bringing a long-handled net. He also warned that tribal commercials will be beach seining Tuesdays and Thursdays.
