Up and down beach fishing at the Hoodsport Hatchery for chums recently, depending on a pulse of fresh fish showing up and/or tribal netting activity. State checks there early last week, for instance, showed 12 anglers with 45 fish, but on Sunday, 2 fishermen with nothing.
