HILLSBORO, Ore. — L.T. Tolbert hit a walk-off single with one out in the 10th inning, lifting the Hillsboro Hops to a 5-4 victory over the Everett AquaSox in Northwest League baseball action Monday afternoon.
Keshawn Lynch scored the game-winning run after he started the inning on second base.
Everett led 4-2 going into the bottom of the seventh inning, but the Hops tied the game when Ryan Tufts and Dan Swain scored on an error.
Five Hops relievers combined to throw 61⁄3 scoreless innings, with Chester Pimentel (2-0) picking up the win. Hillsboro’s starting pitcher, Kenny Hernandez, allowed all four Everett runs in 32⁄3 innings.
Everett’s Jamal Wade (1-2) took the loss.
