SEATTLE — Washington tailback Deontae Cooper has suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and will miss the 2010 season, Husky head coach Steve Sarkisian announced Sunday.
Cooper, a freshman from Perris, Calif., who enrolled at the UW in January, injured the knee during the Huskies’ evening practice Saturday. He will undergo surgery sometime within the next two weeks, and will miss the entire season.
