Huskies fall by one to Valpo

Well, it seems kind of fitting that Washington’s season ended on a pair of missed free throws. Jon Brockman was shooting two with 4.7 second left and the Huskies trailing by one, and missed both. The second miss was tipped around, and Dentmon got off a wild shot (fans thought he was fouled, I haven’t seen a replay yet so I can’t comment) but missed.

Those misses made the Huskies three of 12 in the second half.

Aside from the misses, Brockman had a great game coming off the bench with an injured ankle, scoring 22 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.

Bryan Bouchie led the Crusaders with 20 points.
