Washington announced today that a new FieldTurf field will be installed before next season. That will replace the old surface, which was installed in 2000 when the Seahawks shared Husky Stadium while Qwest Field was being built.
It is, of course, possible that this new playing surface or Martin Stadium won’t be used for upcoming Apple Cups, which is not making folks in Pullman very happy
