The Huskies led by as many as 13 thanks to a 16-4 run, but Northridge kept the game from getting completely out of hand and trail 42-33 at halftime.

Ryan Appleby left the game after playing 11 minutes because of back spasms. We don’t know yet if he’ll return, but he appears to be moving around pretty gingerly as the team shoots around right now. It looks now like he’s talking to Lorenzo Romar to decide if he can play.
The Matadors, a team that is supposed to be a good three-point shooting team, started 0 for 8 before making their final two attempts. Josh Jenkins is Northridge’s halftime leader with seven points.
Well, the teams are back on the floor and Appleby is in there, so the back must be ok.
