In case you weren’t watching/listening to the game, the Beavers hung on to win 29-23. The good news for Washington is that Locker returned to the game in the fourth quarter, and joined his teammates on the sideline wearing a neck brace. He has more tests to undergo when he gets back to Seattle, but just seeing him walk back onto the field to a standing ovation was a pretty uplifting moment.
Tyrone Willingham said it’s too early to tell how long this injury will keep Locker out.
Unfortunately for the Huskies, this loss ends their bowl hopes.
I’ll check back in once more with a few quotes and stats later tonight (well I guess it’s technically Sunday now).
