Well, another lopsided loss is in the books for Washington. The Huskies managed to put together a touchdown drive in garbage time to avoid their first home shutout since 1976, but it was still ugly all the way around.
Heading into their final drive, the Huskies had just 55 yards of offense and had not moved the ball past midfield. They finished with 124 yards of offense to Notre Dame’s 459.
In an obvious statement, Willingham said after the game that, “This was not a good performance.” Um, yeah. Not good at all.
Be back with more a little later tonight.
