SEATTLE — Defender Patrick Ianni scored on a bicycle kick during the first minute of the second half, and the Seattle Sounders rallied for a 2-1 win over MLS-leading Houston Dynamo on Saturday.
Ianni’s winning goal — his first of the season — started with a corner kick from the right-wing side. Freddie Ljungberg drove the ball into the box, where Steve Zakuani headed it down to Ianni. With the ball on his right foot, Ianni bicycled it over goalkeeper Pat Onstad from the right side of the 6-yard box.
Brad Davis’ third goal of the season gave the Dynamo (9-4-4) the lead in the 12th minute.
Fredy Montero extended his goal streak to five games for Seattle (7-3-7) with his ninth of the year, tying it in the 31st minute.
