EVERETT — Julio Rodriguez homered, and Kaden Polcovich, Jack Larsen and David Sheaffer each drove in three runs as the Everett AquaSox crushed the Tri-City Dust Devils 15-1 on Thursday night for their fifth straight win.
Rodriguez also doubled in the game and is hitting .342 with a 1.113 on-base plus slugging percentage in his first nine games with the AquaSox.
Larsen hit his first homer of the season and Connor Hoover hit his second homer of the season in a six-run seventh inning for Everett.
Emerson Hancock started and allowed one run on three hits while striking out four in 2.2 innings for the AquaSox. Evan Johnson allowed only one hit in the final three innings and struck out five to earn a save for Everett (7-2).
The AquaSox offense drew 12 walks in the game.
Jose Verrier had two hits for Tri-City (3-6).
