What’s cooler than being ranked No. 1 in the state? How about becoming No. 1 in the nation?
That’s the latest honor earned by the Jackson High boys cross country team. The fleet-footed Timberwolves rose to No. 1 in the MileSplit Fab 15 rankings released on Sept. 30.
Other publications have noticed Jackson, too. The T-wolves are No. 5 in the Dyestat Elite/ESPN Rise Fab 50 national rankings (Oct. 2).
Want to see the super-talented Jackson team compete? You can watch the T-wolves today. They host Mariner, Oak Harbor and Arlington in a Wesco meet that begins at 3:45 p.m. at Jackson High in Mill Creek.
By the way: The Glacier Peak girls XC team is also ranked nationally. The Grizzlies are No. 7 in the MileSplit Fab 15 rankings and they are No. 24 in the Dyestat Elite/ESPN Rise Fab 50 list.
