MILL CREEK – The Jackson girls basketball team earned an important 57-44 Western Conference South Division victory over Shorecrest Wednesday night at Jackson High School.

With the victory Jackson (9-2 league and 11-2 overall), kept pace with Mountlake Terrace (9-2, 11-2) for second place in the division.

Sam McCracken led all scorers with 24 points and also pulled down 12 rebounds for the Wolves. Mary Tseng paced Shorecrest (6-6, 7-7) with a team-high 19 points.
