The Warriors defeated Lee University 8-3 on May 30 in Lewiston, Idaho, to wrap up their 16th national title.
Senior Nic Benton of Snohomish, the Warriors’ starting left-fielder, appeared in all six Series games. He hit just .182 (2-for-11) but scored five runs, drove in two and walked five times.
