MUKILTEO – The Kamiak boys golf team has been impressive all year. Tuesday, the Knights added to their reputation.
Kamiak, led by Reid Martin’s 141 stroke total over 36 holes (67, 74), claimed first place in the Wesco South meet.
The Knights had four golfers in the top six after both rounds. Johhny Carey shot a 144 (72, 72), followed by Brycen Finnie with 147 (72, 75) and Dylan Goodwin with 147 (73, 74).
Carey took home medalist honors in round two which was held at Harbour Pointe Golf Course. Chris Jackson of Jackson High School finished with a 2-over-par 74 behind Carey.
Kris Jackson of Lynnwood shot a 145 (71, 74) and Jens Bracht of Shorecrest with 145 (71, 74) rounded out the top six.

Wesco South meet: At Everett, medalist Christa Goldie led Kamiak to the division championship with 138 Stableford points. All five Kamiak players exceeded 100 points. Seo Hee Moon had 137, Karinn Dickinson 121, Rachel Choi 128 and Caiti Nelson 130. Those five were also the top five stroke-play players in the second round. Goldie fired a 1-over-par 73. Moon was at 74 followed by Nelson (76), Choi (82) and Dickinson (86).
