Kamiak head coach Dan Mack will be inducted into the Washington State High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame on Saturday.
In an email to the Kamiak staff, Knights athletic director Sean Monica said he is extremely excited for the longtime Kamiak football coach.
“We are so proud that Coach Mack will be representing Kamiak High School as he accepts this prestigious award,” Monica wrote in the email. “Coach Mack has been an extremely successful football coach throughout his coaching career, but more importantly he has served as a mentor, a friend, and a positive role model for a countless number of young men in his football program. His tireless efforts have made a positive impact at Kamiak and in the Mukilteo community.”
Kamiak went 7-3 in 2014, finishing second in Wesco 4A and earning a berth in the 4A quad-district tournament, where the Knights fell 17-13 to Todd Beamer.
