SEATTLE — Jackson High School product Kristi Kingma added to her ever-growing trophy case Tuesday with one of her biggest honors yet.
The University of Washington junior was named first team All-Pac-10 on Tuesday. Kingma, who ranks fourth in the conference in scoring, is one of 15 players on the first team.
“It’s definitely an honor,” Kingma said via telephone Tuesday. “A lot of credit goes to my teammates for being able to get me the ball. It’s definitely an honor. It wasn’t anything I expected.”
Snohomish native Marjorie Heard, a graduate of Glacier Peak High School, was received honorable mention all-freshman Tuesday.
