Here’s a look at tonight’s King’s-Hoquiam football playoff game:
Hoquiam vs. King’s
7 p.m., tonight at Woolsey Stadium
What’s at stake: A spot in the Class 1A state football quarterfinals and a game against the winner of the No.2 Montesano-Cedar Park Christian clash.
Breakdown: The Grizzlies (9-1) amassed 548 yards of total offense in last week’s 52-33 win over Kalama in a Southwest 1A District football playoff game. Hoquiam has a stable of six running backs it uses and averaged 275 yards rushing per game this season. In its one loss, the Grizzlies were shut out and gave up 34 points to No. 2 Montesano. King’s will have to strike early and use its quickness to counteract Hoquiam’s size.
My pick: King’s 30, Hoquiam 28
