SHORELINE – The King’s girls volleyball team ended its regular season with a dominating three-set Cascade Conference victory – 25-7, 25-11, 25-11 – over Coupeville Wednesday night at King’s High School.
“Our serving and ball control was really good tonight,” King’s head coach Steve Bain said.
With the victory, King’s improved to 14-0 in league and overall. The Knights travel to Bellingham on Saturday for the Class 1A District 1 playoffs at Meridian High School.
Bianca Rowland (14 kills), Erin Bremond (five blocks, five kills), Kailey Trautmann (eight kills, seven aces) and Anna Cesari (20 assists) led the way for the Knights.
“This was a good way to end the regular season,” Bain said.
Coupeville ended its season at 4-10, 5-10.
Girls soccer
Woodinville 3, Bothell 1: At Woodinville, Emma Stolz scored a goal and had an assist to help lead Woodinville to the Kingco 4A victory. Bothell’s Kasey Lervold scored on an assist from Krista Niklason in the 12th minute.
