The Lake Stevens Reds Senior League baseball team (ages 15-16) recently completed a 27-0 season.
The Reds posted a 24-0 record in the regular season and won three straight in the district tournament, besting Alderwood 12-6 in the championship game.
Shawn Kougl hit a three-run homer in the title contest. Winning pitcher Kevin Afferbach threw a complete game and struck out nine.
