Lakewood all-league tight end Dustin Stanton, who has missed the team’s first two playoff games with a foot injury, may be able to play in the Cougars’ playoff game against W.F. West on Friday night.
“As of yesterday (Tuesday), he was up to about 75 percent and its one those injuries where you don’t want to put him in until it’s 100 percent,” said Lakewood head coach Dan Teeter. “There is a slight chance he’ll play.”
Stanton, who is a verbal commit to Oregon State, has caught 21 passes for 305 yards and three touchdowns.
