The National Lacrosse League announced its Week 15 Players of the Week on Wednesday and the list was headed by Toronto forward Stephen Leblanc.
Leblanc scored four goals and dished five assists to lead Toronto in a 19-12 loss to Colorado on Saturday.
Edmonton’s Kyle Rubisch earned Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season by collecting nine loose balls, dishing an assist and forcing three turnovers in the Rush’s 11-8 win over Buffalo on Saturday.
Minnesota’s Jordan MacIntosh earned Transition Player of the Week for his two goals, one assist and nine loose balls he picked up in Saturday’s 14-9 victory over Washington.
For a second consecutive week, Rochester’s Johnny Powless earned Rookie of the Week honors. Powless scored three goals, had four assists and picked up three loose balls in Rochester’s 14-12 win over Calgary on Saturday.
