The NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora is reporting this morning that Detroit is “strongly considering” making a trade to acquire Seahawks guard Rob Sims.
The Seahawks have told Sims that he doesn’t fit into their plans, telling the guard to stay away from team workouts—they don’t want him getting hurt before they can move him—so it’s not likely Seattle will get more than a late round pick for him.
Chicago is another team that has reportedly shown interest in Sims.
